Law of Interpretation Recap
Ecclesiastes 8:1 “How wonderful to be wise, to analyze and interpret things. Wisdom lights up a person’s face, softening its harshness.”(NLT)
How you interpret the situations around your life and destiny matters a lot. A wrong interpretation can ensnare your destiny, please beware!
Prophet Samuel saw a well built, tall and handsome man and he interpreted him to be the future king, he was a powerful prophet but mark you, he misinterpreted the situation!
1 Samuel 16:6 “And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD’S anointed is before him.”
1 Samuel 16:7 “But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for [the LORD seeth] not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.”
Friend, you need to be careful, always seek the face of God. Don’t jump into conclusions. Don’t misinterpret a very handsome man for your husband to be or a very pretty lady for your wife to be, learn to correctly interpret! That the man looks like a cattle rearer today should not be interpreted to mean he will die in the bush, there is a king in him, remember David!
See beyond today, let interpretation show you the tomorrow of your situation. Your future is bright and colourful if only you can interpret it as such!
Wrong interpretation has limited several people, making them slaves to what God has given them mastery over. Many panic and seek for help at the wrong places but as stated in our focal scripture, correct interpretation only comes from God.
As you spend quality time with him daily, He will give you the correct perspective on the issues of your life.
Life is like a dream. In fact we can say that life is like a riddle. Being so, it requires correct interpretation, Selah!
