Ecclesiastes 8:1 “Who [is] as the wise [man]? and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? a man’s wisdom maketh his face to shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed.”
Theologians say it is the ability to know and apply spiritual truths. Wisdom helps us to put different information together to make an informed decision. The wisdom we are talking about here comes only from God via his Spirit, this is the wisdom for interpretation!
Genesis 41:38 “And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find [such a one] as this [is], a man in whom the Spirit of God [is]?”
Daniel 5:12 “Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding, interpreting of dreams, and shewing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts, were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel be called, and he will shew the interpretation”
One unique feature of the Spirit of God is the demonstration of wisdom. The wisdom that puts you over!
Daniel 2:10 “The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can shew the king’s matter: therefore there is no king, lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.”
In the days of Daniel, there were other people who proved “wise” but their wisdom let them down when it mattered most but the wisdom that is from above is above all. It cannot be rivaled, this is the wisdom you have via the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit in you is not for decoration, it is the very wisdom of God, the one that created the heaven and the earth. Corporate with Him, submit to His leading and He will reveal secrets to you.
King Solomon, said:
“Sell everything and buy Wisdom! Forage for Understanding! Don’t forget one word! Don’t deviate an inch!” Proverbs 4:5 (MSG)
