Law of Interpretation-8
Ecclesiastes 8:1 “Who [is] as the wise [man]? and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? a man’s wisdom maketh his face to shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed.”
Ecclesiastes 8:1 “How wonderful to be wise, to analyze and interpret things. Wisdom lights up a person’s face, softening its harshness.”(NLT)
There is a divine agenda and your appearing on the stage is to fulfill that mandate. Why were you not born in 1234, 1717 or even 1812? Why now? The answer is simply, you were not needed then. There was nothing for you to interprete as of then. For you to be alive to read this piece simply means there is something meant for you to interprete, Beloved, find it!
2. Interpretation also saves both the interpreter and others around him from destruction. In the bible, there was this very wicked and funny King. This guy slept alone on his bed, dreamt alone and woke up alone but then he forgot his dream. Unlike the case of Pharaoh he threatened to kill everybody if they cannot remind him his dream and interpret it for him!
Daniel 2:1 “And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him.”
Daniel 2:2 “Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for to shew the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king.”
Daniel 2:5 “The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill.”
A very interesting story here! Nebuchadnezzar made one of the most appalling statement by any king till date. How do you ask to be reminded of a dream you forgot and also demand for it’s interpretation? To be continued
