Law of Interpretation-4
Ecclesiastes 8:1 “Who [is] as the wise [man]? and who knoweth the interpretation of a thing? a man’s wisdom maketh his face to shine, and the boldness of his face shall be changed.”
Ecclesiastes 8:1 “How wonderful to be wise, to analyze and interpret things. Wisdom lights up a person’s face, softening its harshness.”(NLT)
Most of us are like that. What we need is hidden in somebody close to us but it’s either we don’t know it or we simply neglect it but these high profile prisoners spoke to the right man.
For you to become skillful at interpretation, you need to have gone through some processes. Those processes prepare you for the task ahead. In the case of Joseph, he didn’t start that day, he has had the opportunity to horn his skill.
Beloved, don’t shy away from training! That skill of yours can bail you out or let you down, it all depends on what you’ve done at the place of training!
Joseph started out by interpreting, his own dreams, he then interprete dreams for his family, even though that got him in trouble, he kept at it. Then he interpreted dreams for these high profile prisoners. He then interpreted for their boss, Pharaoh himself and finally he interpreted the dream of a nation. A powerful nation and he became wealthy, famous and above all fulfilled a divine agenda. Joseph’s interpretation of a dream saved the human race from extinction.
When you interpret for you community, you get communal reward, when you interpret at national level, you get national reward, when you interpret at international or global level, you’re rewarded at that level. Friend, choose your level!
A major secret to interpretation was also revealed by Joseph, hear this:
Genesis 40:8 “And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and [there is] no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, [Do] not interpretations [belong] to God? tell me [them], I pray you.
