Isaiah 54:2 “Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes”
Isaiah 54:3 “For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.”
A friend of mine was complaining that she’s getting too fat and want to slim down yet she eats 6 to 7 slices of bread at a go and she told me she has “capacity” for more. I hope she’s not reading this…lol
Beloved,reduce your capacity for things that are not beneficial and increase your capacity for those that are till there will be no more room for the devil and his antics in your life!
Ephesians 4:27 “Neither give place to the devil.”
Ephesians 4:28 “Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with [his] hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.”
Here, Paul admonished the Ephesians to deprive the devil of any capacity he has in their lives. He told them to stop stealing but rather develop a capacity for work. Likewise, eliminate every capacity you’ve developed for laziness in your life by increasing your capacity for work till it chokes up every available space for laziness.
Paul also said:
Ephesians 4:29 “Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.”
Ephesians 4:31 “Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:”
Ephesians 4:32 “And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.”
Paul was not talking to some people far off, he was adressing believers! To be continued
