Luke 15:17 “And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!”
Luke 15:18 “I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,”
Luke 15:20 “And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.”
In that same text (Isaiah 9:6) you’ll realise that after putting the government upon the shoulder of the son, he was then permitted to manifest his names! Perhaps you’re not manifesting your names because you’re still behaving like a child.
No matter how much you love your children, you’ll not give the key of your car to your 5 year old! If you do, you might end up killing him. He needs to attain some level of maturity before you’ll think of doing that. In the same vein, our heavenly Father loves us so very much but at the same time, He’ll not want us dead by giving us stuff He knows we cannot handle now. Hear this:
Galatians 4:1 “Now I say, [That] the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;”
Galatians 4:2 “But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.”
Friend, you need to grow up for you to go up!
Back to Jesus’ statement about his Father, John 16:15, “All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew [it] unto you.”
But, we also know that, we are joint heirs with Christ:
Romans 8:17 “And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ…”
So if we are joint heirs with Christ, everything the Father has are equally ours!! Hallelujah!
Beloved, take the “bull of your life” by the horn and demand for your portion. Selah!
