Bull by the horn-6
Luke 15:17 “And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my father’s have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!”
Luke 15:18 “I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and before thee,”
Luke 15:20 “And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.”
That is the spirit of a champion. You will not go far or achieve much this year if you don’t develop such an attitude. It is called being proactive. You might be down now in one or more areas of your life but the question I want to ask you is, Why are you still down?
Why are you still down when you can change things. It’s in your hands! Why not get up, quit the pig house, quit those funny friends who are going nowhere! Change your history!
Another interesting gist in this story that I want you to note and appropriate is the fact that every change you want to see in life must first start from within before it can manifest without! In Luke 15:17, the bible says, “…when he came to himself, he said…to himself.” He advised himself, being proactive involves using your head! Changing your mindset!
Every change must start from within. It must be first spiritual then physical! He started by changing the state of his heart or mind as the case maybe. If you need to get right with God in those areas, do it and do that fast! Then hatch a plan!
The prodigal son has the same mentality as Jesus! Hear this:
John 16:15 “All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew [it] unto you.”
Jesus knew his Father so well. He said everything the Father has are equally his! (To be continued)
