Make a wish…(3)

Ephesians 3:20 “God can do anything, you know–far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us.”(MSG)
…From yesterday…I was also wondering what the man that asked for Santa Claus shoes will do with it, since he’ll look very funny wearing it out.
Now, what has this got to do with us? We are like those folks in our mindset and actions. The bible says,”God can do anything, you know–far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!..”(Ephesians 3:20), yet most of us are not bold enough to make the request.
We tend to believe more in our salaries, our friends, our colleagues and family. We believe they can sure meet our needs and believe prayer is just what we do as a religious concern.
We put GOD, the greatest giver of all time into a small box, limiting His capability. Hear this:
John 3:16 “This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.”(MSG)
Romans 8:32 “God did not keep back his own Son, but he gave him for us. If God did this, won’t he freely give us everything else?”(CEV)
Romans 8:32 “He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?”
Don’t ever limit the greatest giver of all time. What are your desires? What is that intimidating request that scares you? God says, bring it on! Dare to believe me for it! I can meet your expectations and surpass them!
God says He can supply all you can ever need:
Philippians 4:19 “And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”(AMP) (To be continued)
