Luke 4:42 “And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him…”
Luke 4:43 “And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.”
…from yesterday…The truth is if you don’t take time out to talk to God you will run into some avoidable errors. At the place of prayers you receive instructions on how to go about your day, where to go, when to go, who to meet etc. God still speaks and guides don’t ever take Him for granted.
3. Jesus exercised! This looks strange but in my study and meditations I find out some interesting stuff about Jesus’ activities. People naturally don’t live in the desert or wilderness and it’s usually some distance from the main settlements. Jesus walked up to the deserts and sometimes climb mountains to pray and in the process exercises himself! He does this early and this kept him fit!
Talking about highly successful people, Vanderkam says, “These are incredibly busy people, but they make out time to exercise, which means it must be very important.”
Vanderkam says a pre-breakfast workout helps reduce stress later in the day, counteracts the effects of high-fat diet, and improves sleep.
4. Jesus uses the early mornings to clear his head and work on his top priorities. He sorts out what to do first, second, third etc. The early morning hours is the most ideal time to focus on important tasks and plan how to go about it, You have time to focus on the task ahead before your kids, employees, bosses and other activities demand for your time,
5. Jesus had a plan of his top priorities clearly written out and he didn’t deviate from it,  When the crowd came, as depicted in our text, he told them straight up that there is a plan for the day that he must follow. He never allowed them shift his focus. He picked up his priority list and followed it through.
