Luke 4:42 “And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed him, that he should not depart from them.”
Luke 4:43 “And he said unto them,  I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.”
Luke 4:44 “And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee.”
A wise man once said, “There are two things that are difficult for most people to do: To think, and to do things in the order of their importance.” How very true!
We are stil talking about goals, plans and our aspirations come 2015. What preparations are you making? How are you going about it? I believe you’re planning and preparing well.
In this piece, we’re going to be considering another component of planning called Prioritization. It’s a very important component which if not in place our plans can go very wrong.
Prioritization deals with the concept of arranging things in order of priority or importance. It means to rank something as having high priority. In a simple term it means “First things first!” No matter how fantastic your plans are if you don’t arrange items in the proper order, you can mess up your plans.
Have you ever sat down to evaluate your priorities in life? Many people go through life spending their time but never asking how to spend it and on what? They just go from day to day doing whatever they want and whatever they feel like doing, without ever really asking themselves what they should be doing.
There is a great difference between what you’re doing and what you should be doing and until you get to understand the difference you’ll be busy doing much and achieving little.
It will be a tragedy of enormous proportion to have gone through 365 days and looked back only to realise you have spent much of your time, energy and money on things that were pointless…to be continued
