Plan B -5

Proverbs 27:12 “A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.” (NLT)
Pharaoh learnt in a very hard way that God will not change the goal even though plans change. Let me share this scripture with you as well:
Ezekiel 21:27 “I will overturn, overturn, overturn, it: and it shall be no [more], until he come whose right it is; and I will give it to him.”
God says, I can switch plans, then change plans and switch it again, till you achieve your goals!! God is just awesome!
One other story I love on the subject matter is that of those four guys whose friend was sick.
Mark 2:4 “And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken [it] up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.”
Their friend was sick and needed healing. But on getting to the great physician, the whole place was jam packed. The crowd was overwhelming. They had the option of abandoning their plan to get their sick friend to Jesus but they refused to give up. They switched to Plan B. The plan changed but the goal remain.
Don’t ever give up on your goals and aspirations come 2015. One reason we pray about our plans committing it to God is because He is all knowing. He can forsee danger and guide us on the precautions to take. Always covet his guidance!
Somebody said, “Always have a plan B, and if it fails don’t get scared, the alphabet has 26 more letters!” Have some flexibility in your plans, but also the rigidity never to change the goal!
Planning is also about being ready to take advantage of real opportunities. So be sensitive! Also, note that switching plans often involves quick thinking and taking risk.
Don’t run back, lean on the One who knows it all, the Lord God almighty, the Omnipresent, the Omniscience!!
