Proverbs 27:12 “A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions. The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences.” (NLT)
In fact when Moses finally arrived in Egypt to deliver God’s people, the devil through Pharaoh refused on Plan A. God was interested in His people leaving Egypt to go serve Him but the devil was interested too. The devil wanted to keep them down in Egypt, in boundage, knowing fully well that what they were going to do will make a lot of difference in the world. I’m sure you know it did and still does!
God didn’t give up the goal because Plan A didn’t work out, He simply switched plans. It will interest you to know that God switched plans about ten times before He got His people out. I’m sure you’ve read about the ten plagues. They were not just plagues they were plans. If you like call it Plan A to Plan J!!
Friend, I want you to know that as long as God gave you a desire or goal and the plan for your destiny, it doesn’t matter the obstacles, you will get there. Hear this:
Isaiah 46:10 “From the very beginning telling you what the ending will be, All along letting you in on what is going to happen, Assuring you, ‘I’m in this for the long haul, I’ll do exactly what I set out to do,'”(MSG)
This is one of my favourite scriptures!  The King James version says, “Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times [the things] that are not [yet] done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure…” Isaiah 46:10. God doesn’t change the goal, His counsel always stand!
In Isaiah 46:11, He said, “…I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.”
This is why you cannot afford to stay away from God, He knows when to switch plans. One act of obedience provokes the next, then the next until you arrive at your colourful destiny…to be continued
