…From yesterday…Before you start thinking I’m talking unbelief and asking for the place of faith. Let’s do some analysis.
But before then, I want you to know that whatever God is interested in, the devil is interested in it as well. Whatever captures God’s attention captures the devils attention too. That God gave you an idea and the plan of execution does not mean the devil will stay off and watch you go execute it without trying to stop you. The devil knows God will not give you an idea and a good plan of execution if what you want to do will make no difference in the world.
That said, let’s continue the analysis, hear this:
Matthew 2:7 “Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them diligently what time the star appeared.”
Matthew 2:8 “And he sent them to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found [him], bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also.”
Matthew 2:12 “And being warned of God in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed into their own country another way.”
Matthew 2:13 “And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and take the young child and his mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the young child to destroy him.”
Matthew 2:14 “When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt…”
An interesting story, I’m sure you’re familiar with. When Jesus was born, the wise men from the East saw his star and came to worship him. Unfortunately, they went to Herod to enquire about the new King. The devil got wind of it…to be continued
