Proverbs 26:13 “The slothful man saith, [There is] a lion in the way; a lion is in the streets.”
Proverbs 26:14 “[As] the door turneth upon his hinges, so [doth] the slothful upon his bed.”
…They can only over power you when you give in to fear, become lazy and rush back to bed to hide under the bedsheet refusing to come out just like Samson’s parent. I know they ran away because no mention of them was made while Samson wrestled the beast.
Beloved, I have good news for you today, those intimidating lions of fear, discouragement,  procrastination, envy, uncertainty, debts, financial challenges are only making “distress calls” because they recognise you as the real lion, the one that is fearless, courageous, take steps, not envious, rich and wealthy. It’s you that don’t know you!!
They know it’s your place they’ve been occupying illegally. I don’t care what your “Timnah” is, it could be the place of your health, destiny, properties, prosperity, promotion, breakthrough etc, they’re there illegally and I want you to take it over! Enough of that nonsense! Quit being slothful and get down to work.
Another Hebrew word used for lion in Prov.26:13 is the Hebrew word “Shachal” meaning wicked men. These are evil or mischievous men by nature, subtle and cunning. That reminds me of the devil. These are men with the devils nature, don’t let them stop you. Every lion roaring against you will help you reign in life in Jesus name, Amen.
Back to our scripture reading:
Judges 14:6 “And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon him, and he tore the lion as he would have torn a kid (young goat), and he had nothing in his hand…”
The bible says Samson, went after the lion and tore it to pieces as if it was a small goat after the Spirit of the Lord came upon him and had nothing in his hand! He performed this feat without the physical tools of men!(to be continued)
