Law of Place-4

Proverbs 16:4 “GOD made everything with a place and purpose…”(MSG)
In the case of Jacob, he had to take him to Egypt in chains. Joseph was his father’s favourite and there was no way he could have been persuaded to go and fulfil his destiny in Egypt, so God had to improvise! He did that by taking him to Egypt in chains! Peradventure you have arrived at a place in chains, look around for your own opportunities, don’t be bitter, it might be your place.
Deuteronomy 2:3 says, “You’ve been going around in circles in these hills long enough; go north” (MSG).
When God saw that the Israelites were not making progress, He intervened by not just telling them what to do, he gave them specifics of where they needed to go, the North!
Friend, seek to be where God wants you to be daily, hourly, and  weekly. Become very conscious of where you are, where you work and for whom you work. Also note that motion is not as important as direction, you must always have a desired destination in mind.
Another way to know your place is by knowing where and who needs your gifts. Mike Murdock says, “You are sent to a group of people, locate them and empty your life into them”. You can ask yourself the question, “Who needs my gifts?”.
Galatians 2:9 “In fact, James, Peter, and John, who were known as pillars of the church, recognized the gift God had given me, and they accepted Barnabas and me as their co-workers. They encouraged us to keep preaching to the Gentiles, while they continued their work with the Jews.”(NLT)
When the gift of Paul was located, it pointed him to his place among the gentiles. Peter’s gift pointed him to the jews. Also, in the scripture above, we saw some mentoring inputs from James, Peter, John and Barnabas. Your mentor can also guide and help you locate your place. You will not miss your place in destiny in Jesus name, amen.
Friend, Places do matter!! Selah!
