I dare you-2

I dare you -2
1 Samuel 17:32 “Don’t worry about this Philistine,” David told Saul. “I’ll go fight him!”
1 Samuel 17:33 “Don’t be ridiculous!” Saul replied. “There’s no way you can fight this Philistine and possibly win! You’re only a boy…”(NLT)
Let me share this story with you:  A farmer started manufacturing tractors and had several challenges which he overcame and before long his business became very successful and he became one of the most wealthy in Italy. He bought a ferrari car among other cars. The Ferrari however use to give him constant trouble. Being a mechanic, he tried to fix the problem and found out that his Ferrari had the same clutch as used in one of his tractors. “All my Ferraris had clutch problems,” he said, “When you drove normally, everything was fine. But when you were going hard, the clutch would slip under acceleration; it just wasn’t up to the job.”
The farmer went to the service station regularly to fix or renew the clutch. He did this severally and on each occasion, the car was taken away for several hours for the repair and he was not allowed to watch the repair procedure. After each procedure however, the problem persists. He then decide to go meet the owner of Ferrari and complain.
After several failed attempts, he eventually met the great man, Enzo Ferrari. He complained bitterly about the problem. But then Ferrari had an insultive answer for him, “Ferrucio, you may be able to drive a tractor but you will never be able to handle a Ferrari Properly.” At this point Ferrucio felt very bad and decided to take it up as a dare. He told himself he’ll build a perfect car. A few years down the line, he gave the world her fastest land car, just because he took up the dare. By the way the farmer’s full name is Ferrucio Lamborghini, and his car of course is the Lamborghini.
In 1Sam.17, David saw Goliath’s challenge as a dare. In an attempt to discourage him from taking up the dare… (to be continued)
