1Sam.16:12 “And he sent and brought him in Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said Arise anoint him: for this is he.”
God expects us as his children to rise beyond the level of men. When you arise you don’t see like men sees, you start seeing like God. If you’re on the ground floor of a building you are limited in vision. A lot of obstructions, but when you climb up to the next level or floor, your vision becomes broader. You definitely see better than those on the ground floor. You see from above!
The word arise from the Hebrew also means to lift up again, raise up, rear up, set up, establish, make to stand up, stir up, strengthen and succeed. Hmmmm…When u “Arise” you succeed!!
If you don’t “Arise” you’ll keep getting results obtainable at that level, which is not much. But when you “Arise” you start getting higher results, I mean results in the class of GOD!
This new month, make up your mind to “Arise”. Meditate on God’s word. Your bible is not a history book; it’s your road map through earth’s difficult terrain to the treasure you seek.
2Pet.1:3, says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” When you have the knowledge of Him, He leads you to every good thing that pertains to your life!
If I may ask, when last did you enter a bookshop? I don’t mean you going to buy books for your children’s resumption. I mean to buy books that will stir you up. Books that will cause the sleeping giant on your inside to arise. Books that can earn you a promotion on your job. Books that will bring you to the attention of kings.
Friend, Arise, this month must not be like the previous ones. To Earn more you need to Learn more. Rise above that challenge, Selah!
