Law of Improvement-3

Law of Improvement (3)
Proverbs 4:18 “But the path of the [uncompromisingly] just and righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines more and more (brighter and clearer) until [it reaches its full strength and glory in the perfect day [to be prepared].” (AMP)
…from yesterday…Seven months after his return, the company had a change in management. The new management setup a new department and advertised for a new head for the new department. Your guess is as good as mine. It was the same training he went for, he simply forwarded his application and they withdrew the advert and gave him an automatic appointment. He said his salary became seven times more than his current pay pack. He also enjoyed several improvement trainings abroad, fully sponsored by the company.
Improving yourself is not easy I must confess, that is why most people don’t venture into it. It is work! It requires time, commitment and discipline.  A wise man said, “Discipline is doing what you hate in order to get what you really want”. How true.
Mike Murdock also said, “Champions become champions by maintaining discipline until it becomes a habit…a daily routine in their lives”. He also said, “Champions do daily, what stagnant men and women do occasionally”. Tiger Woods is always on the golf course by 4:30am every morning since he was 4years old, seeking to improve himself.
It is very easy to remain at the status quo. To remain at our comfort zone, thinking we have arrived. Friend, don’t fall for this trap of the enemy. No matter what happens in your life, seek to improve yourself. Add a little to yourself on daily basis. The improvement could be as little as reading a new book, learning a new skill, moving from a one room apartment (face-me-I-face-you) to a one bedroom self contain, not polishing your shoe to polishing it each day… (to be continued)
